Losing weight can be extremely challenging, especially for individuals who are overweight or obese and plan to lose a significant amount of weight. A medical weight loss program can make a world of difference when compared to programs that depend on the individual to adhere to a diet and exercise regimen alone.
While our program involves a nutrition and lifestyle element, the key component centers around the supplementation of effective medication and professional support.
Glucagon Like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists (GLP-1 RA) have been around for a while and include: Dulaglutide, Exenatide, Liraglutide, and Semaglutide. We use a Compounded Pharmacy Semaglutide formulation. Take a look at our program outline to learn more about how Semaglutide can help an overweight or obese individual achieve relatively fast and effective weight loss
Our monthly Semaglutide Weight Loss Plan includes:
Clinical Consultation – Our clients attend a one-on-one consultation with their provider prior to embarking on the weight loss program. The consultation covers dietary and lifestyle changes that need to be paired with this peptide therapy in order to facilitate optimal results.
Weeks of Semaglutide Injections – Our weight loss plan includes a weekly injection of Semaglutide, which begins at 10 units per injection and can increase each month depending on the individual’s tolerance. These injections are given subcutaneously (into the fatty tissue under the skin), meaning that the needle is short, thin, and does not cause much discomfort when the injection takes place.
Weeks of MIC Injections – This weight loss plan also includes a weekly 1mL injection of MIC (L-Methionine, Inositol, and Choline) to facilitate more efficient fat burning. These injections are given intramuscularly, meaning that the drug is injected into the individual’s muscular tissues.
Weekly Support – Clients take part in weekly support calls with their provider to discuss their progress, concerns, questions, or to cover general elements and updates regarding their weight loss therapy.
A medical weight loss program can offer noticeable, sustainable results, especially for individuals who have struggled with weight loss on their own. This is because, in addition to administering medications that assist patients in successfully losing weight, a medical weight loss program provides monitoring and support that other plans lack.
When participating in a Semaglutide weight loss program, medical professionals are available to answer questions, monitor progress, offer advice, and support the individual throughout the process.
To aid our patients in achieving and sustaining significant weight loss, we take the steps needed to ensure that individuals starting this program are informed and set up for success.

Patients with Type II Diabetes may have heard of Semaglutide medications when exploring treatment options. When it comes to GLP-1 RA medications, there are injectable and oral versions of these drugs by various brand names. Our weight loss program utilizes the injectable form of a Compounded Pharmacy Semaglutide formulation, a once a week injection.
A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine indicates that overweight and obese individuals who participated in a weight loss program that utilizes Semaglutide injections lost 10-20% of their body weight.
The FDA has recently approved once-weekly Semaglutide injections as a treatment method for overweight adults or those who struggle with obesity and have at least one weight-related health condition.
By assisting patients in achieving significant weight loss (10-20%) through the supplementation of Semaglutide injections in conjunction with dietary and lifestyle plan requirements, overweight and obese individuals can reduce not only their weight but the risk of developing chronic illnesses as well.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist medication, and as it has undergone significant testing and studies in order to be approved as a Type II Diabetes and weight loss treatment, it is considered relatively safe. Like other drugs of its type, though, patients who undergo Semaglutide injections may experience side effects, especially at the beginning of the treatment.
The most common Semaglutide side effects include:
Uncommonly, more serious side effects may occur. Talk to your medical provider if you experience any of the following after beginning Semaglutide treatments.
MIC is an injectable weight loss supplement that can be used in combination with other weight loss medications when provided and monitored by a medical professional. The term “MIC” is an abbreviation for the three key weight loss ingredients included in these injections:
In addition to the supplements mentioned, MIC injections contain Vitamins B1, B2, and B3 to help enhance metabolism, fat and carbohydrate conversion, cholesterol reduction, and energy production from broken-down nutrients.
The initial consultation is an essential part of the weight loss program. During this visit, a medical provider explains the requirements that need to be met in order for the program to be a success. This includes evaluating the patient’s medical history and current health conditions to determine compatibility.
Additionally, the consultation covers the dietary and lifestyle portion of the weight loss program so that the patient is aware of the important role they play in their weight loss plan and has their expectations mapped out and addressed.
This time can also be used to ask questions and express thoughts and concerns about the program so that the best possible chances of success are understood.
The once-weekly phone call with your medical provider is designed as a checking-in point. It allows the patient and provider to discuss changes and concerns the patient is experiencing, and monitor the progression of the program.
During the call, the medical provider will dedicate time to addressing the patient’s needs and concerns. However, if something occurs outside of the phone call that needs to be addressed before the following week’s call, the patient is encouraged to reach out to their provider or seek medical attention.
A once-weekly support call does not mean that the patient will be without support in the meantime. It’s simply a time designated for support-specific interactions.
